Our accessible screenings
Our cinemas host accessible screenings with adjustments tailored to various disabilities. To learn which options are available at your preferred cinema, visit its “Practical Information” page and select the “Accessibility” section
Audiodescription
Audio description makes films accessible to blind and low‑vision guests through voiceover narration that describes key on‑screen visuals during natural pauses in the dialogue.
The narration is delivered privately to the guest’s headset or earpiece, so it is not audible to others in the auditorium.
Depending on the film, you will need either the Twavox or Greta app to access audio description. Both apps are free to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
On our website, screenings offering audio description are marked with an icon depicting an eye with a slash. The screening details then specify which app is required for your show.

VFST
We offer French‑language screenings with open captions (SDH) for deaf and hard‑of‑hearing audiences.
Captions include dialogue as well as important sound effects and ambience, and may use color coding.
On our website, look for the blue “captioned” banner with the ear‑with‑a‑slash icon.
These screenings are, of course, open to all without restriction, whether or not you have a disability.

CinAdapt
Select Pathé cinemas offer “relaxed screenings” for guests with intellectual and/or cognitive disabilities, delivered in partnership with associations or through the Ciné Relax program.
These sessions are open to all and provide an inclusive environment; trained volunteers support attendees and their families, and sound/light levels may be adjusted.
On our website, look for the blue “CINADAPT” banner with the theatre mask icon.
These screenings are, of course, open to all without restriction, whether or not you have a disability.

PMR
Our auditoriums provide designated spaces for wheelchair users in compliance with applicable regulations. On the seating plan, these spaces are marked with the wheelchair icon.
If an auditorium is not accessible due to technical constraints covered by a duly approved regulatory exemption, the screening is indicated by a crossed‑out wheelchair icon.
To fully enjoy the 4DX experience, our 4DX auditoriums feature seats with seat belts and flip‑up armrests to facilitate transfers from a wheelchair. As in our other auditoriums, these seats are identified on the seating plan with the wheelchair icon.
